Rocketstars SlamDunk Pathway

Eligibility Criteria To apply for the Rocketstars SlamDunk Elite Pathway, athletes must meet the following requirements:

Skills & Competitive Experience

• Successful completion of Stage 4 (Contender) or equivalent training background
• Minimum 2 years of structured basketball training (documentation preferred)
• Demonstrated experience in competitive platforms (e.g. VJBL, School Sport, Rep Teams)
• Strong fundamentals in individual defense, tactical understanding, and positional versatility

Mindset & Psychological Readiness

• High levels of self-discipline and coachability
• Ability to perform under pressure and reflect after games
• Commitment to long-term, intensive training cycles
• Open to receiving constructive feedback and performance tracking

Attendance & Coach Endorsement

• Minimum 90% attendance rate in previous terms
• Written recommendation from a Rocketstars senior coach or successful completion of a trial evaluation
• Adherence to team rules and sportsmanship expectations

Application Process

• Submit the Player Application Form (online or PDF)
• Provide a training and competition history (video footage optional)
• Attend a SlamDunk Evaluation Session (based on T.A.C.S. modules)
• Complete a Parent & Athlete Interview (if required)
• Receive formal acceptance and pathway briefing
